Class Etiquette
Please arrive on time to all classes as late arrivals cause distractions for other clients.
If you are a first time client, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to discuss any modifications that may need to be made prior to class.
If you are a regular client who (on rare occasion) is late, we ask that you perform 50 knee lifts to warm up.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations must be made 4 hours prior to class in order to allow those on the wait list adequate notice that they have been added to the class schedule. For classes beginning between 5am and 9 am, cancellations must be made before 9pm the night before.
Failure to cancel within policy window will result in $10 cancellation fee for autopay members and loss of a class session for drop-ins or packages.
We do realize emergencies and circumstances beyond control arise. Should this be the case, please complete the refund request form. forms.gle/JLEAD1MPpgdkrNKL7
Stay to STRETCH
Stretching and meditation at the end of class is just as important as the class itself. We do ask that you stay for the full duration of each class. If there is a rare occasion where you should need to leave early, please let the instructor know before class, choose a spot at the barre closest to the exit, and leave all equipment on the mat for the instructor to clean and put away. This creates much less of a distraction for other clients.
No Talking
Please refrain from all talking and chatter during class. There will be moments of transition in each class, but conversation during these times not only is distracting to participants and instructor and slows the momentum of the class as well as instruction. Barre is based off of MIND AND BODY connection and requires that you stay present on your mat and at the barre (both physically and mentally) for the entire duration of the class.
That being said, we welcome "Woohoo's!" or “Yee-haws” "Lord have MERCYs" grunts and all the hard-working sounds that tend to happen when you're "embracing the shake" and feelin’ the burrrrnnnn!!
Arriving early to catch up and chat with your fellow Barre Beauties is ALWAYS encouraged!
No Phones
Please silence (no vibrate) all cell phones or any other electronic devices (i. e. Watches) and STORE THEM AWAY in a cubby during class. Again, we want our clients to have the best experience possible and to be able to keep their focus inward during the hour, with minimal distractions.
Water Only
Please drink only water in the studio room in order to help us avoid spills and cleanups.
No Shoes
Shoes are not permitted into the studio room and all classes are performed in sticky/grippy socks which can be purchased at the studio.
Follow Directions
Please listen to and follow the directions of your instructor. It is her goal to keep you safe and in good form. We ask that you do not modify or vary from the exercise unless told otherwise during class or by an instructor outside of class (such as if you have an injury, you are pregnant, etc.). There will be times that your instructor gives you corrections, or asks you to stay in a modification. If you have questions or concerns about any instructions given to you specifically, feel free to ask your instructor about it after class.
Clean and Return Equipment
Please spray and wipe your mats and all equipment at the end of every class. All equipment should be placed under the barre and the mat draped over the barre at the conclusion of class.
*These guidelines are in place to ensure that clients are kept safe and are able to make the most of the time spent in the studio. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to abiding by them.
